Realistic Butterfly Tile

I recently completed the firing of my first group of stoneware tile butterflies and couldn't be more pleased.  This group consists of a Blue Morpho, Swallowtail, Painted Lady & Luna Moth.  I tried to stay true to the actual butterfly.

Coming soon are the Cecropia Moth, Hercules Moth, Zebra Swallowtail, Viceroy, Ulysses, Southern Dogface, Cairns Birdwing and Tiger Swallowtail.  As always I make my tile strong and suitable for floors or walls.

Sea Life Tile Border

I made over 40 shells, hatching sea turtles, flounder, horseshoe crab & lobster tiles to create this delightful kitchen floor border.

A sliced mosaic pebble tile was used to fill in the spaces between shells.
